Here is the first fruitful outcome of my birding adventure... In my recent visit to VBO Kavalur I sighted a pair of Hair-crested Drongo. (a rare bird species in TN, India sighted after 1993). “The Essence of a Friend”

29/12/2016 11:11
"The language of friendship is not words but meanings." -- Henry David Thoreau Have you ever considered what your life would be like without a friend?  When I think about the few people I am privileged to regard in such a way, I realize how lucky I am to have them and how irreplaceable they are.  During a recent misunderstanding, I feared the loss of someone’s friendship.  This painful thought caused me to reflect on what a true friend really means, to me.  True...

Auguries of Innocence.... William Blake

25/12/2012 11:16
To see a world in a grain of sand And a heaven in a wild flower, Hold infinity in the palm of your hand, And eternity in an hour. A robin redbreast in a cage Puts all heaven in a rage. A dove-house fill'd with doves and pigeons Shudders hell thro' all its regions. A dog starv'd at his master's gate Predicts the ruin of the state. A horse misused upon the road Calls to heaven for human blood. Each outcry of the hunted hare A fibre from the brain does tear. A skylark...
