Naked-eye Nova in Delphinus

        On 14 August 2013, a white-dwarf star erupted in the constellation Delphinus, producing the brightest nova since 2007. Currently shining at magnitude 4.9, the nova is visible to the naked eye from dark locations far from city lights, and might remain so for weeks to come.

Following images of this nova (NOVA DEL 2013) are taken by me from Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore. The instrument used for imaging is a simple digital camea (CANON SX150is).  This nova can be easily spotted by taking reference of constellation Delphinus.
